For everything there is a season …. a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and (FINALLY) a time to DANCE!
SHOW 1
10:10am ARRIVE, please go to the front entrance of the auditorium, check in with your dancer in costume and ready to go.
10:30am Dress Rehearsal (seated and or on stage ready)
11:10am SHOW TIME, all dancers with go back stage with their teachers during the show.
11:30pm Show ends, please exit side EXITS do not go through the lobby.
SHOW 2
11:40pm ARRIVE, please go to the front entrance of the auditorium, check in with your dancer in costume and ready to go.
12:00pm Dress Rehearsal (seated and or on stage ready)
12:30pm SHOW TIME, all dancers with go back stage with their teachers during the show.
1:00pm Show ends, please exit side EXITS do not go through the lobby.
SHOW 3
1:10pm ARRIVE, please go to the front entrance of the auditorium, check in with your dancer in costume and ready to go.
1:30pm Dress Rehearsal (seated and or on stage ready)
2:00pm SHOW TIME, all dancers with go back stage with their teachers during the show.

2:40pm ARRIVE, please go to the front entrance of the auditorium, check in with your dancer in costume and ready to go.
3:00pm Dress Rehearsal (seated and or on stage ready)
3:30pm SHOW TIME, all dancers with go back stage with their teachers during the show.
4:00pm Show ends, please exit side EXITS do not go through the lobby.
SHOW 5
4:10pm ARRIVE, please go to the front entrance of the auditorium, check in with your dancer in costume and ready to go.
4:30pm Dress Rehearsal (seated and or on stage ready)
5:00pm SHOW TIME, all dancers with go back stage with their teachers during the show.
5:30pm Show ends, please exit side EXITS do not go through the lobby.
ARRIVE BEFORE DRESS REHEARSAL AND BE READY! We have had students miss out because they were late. Please come just as you would for the performance with your hair pulled back, no wispy frizzy hair or half-done pony tails. Have make-up on, use browns for your eye shadow with pink blush and mascara, liner and solid red lipstick. Wear your costume with the right shoes and tights. PLEASE Enter the front lobby of the auditorium, dancer will need to sit with a parent during dress rehearsal. Please make sure your child has used the rest room and is good to go before the show. Auditorium doors will be open 20min prior to dress rehearsal time. You will need to wait outside or in the lobby if you arrive earlier.
Adhere to all the SUSD Covid protocols.
These are their rules for us to be there and use their facility for our recital.
This is our children’s Dance Recital! It is SOOO exciting they get to be on stage! It CAN and should be a pleasant day for us All!
-All participants and audience members need to wear a mask and social distance.
-Temp checks in the lobby
-Only 4 guest per family
-4 Guests per family will be permitted to watch the show. Your dancer is not included as a guest. Guests number DOES include babies and children. (This is not about children being able to be on a lap or the fact that they won’t need a seat, this is about humans in the auditorium)
WE can only permit a small audience, please DO NOT sneak others in. The district employees will be counting heads to make sure we are complying. We will NOT have extra seating. Please live broadcast for your extended family!
Wristbands for Entrance: The day of the show, as you arrive, All families will be given 4 wristbands. Each recital with have a DIFFERENT color wristband. You will check in, outside by the entrance of the lobby of the Auditorium. You will sign out 4 wrist bands for your family the DAY of the show. (If you have children in more than one show you will be given SEPARATE and different colored wristbands for each show) Once inside, before entrance into the auditorium, you will need to show a wrist band is ON your wrist to our lobby staff. You will be asked to sit on every other row and two seats between each family.
Videotaping and Pictures during Dress Rehearsal. You can videotape this year!!! You can even go live on your social media for your family. Dress Rehearsal will be your opportunity to GET UP and videotape your dancer up in the front and even take tons of pictures. For the Performance, It can be a distraction to have 100 plus video cameras standing up and moving in the audience during the performance so we invite you to video SEATED QUIETLY during the show.
NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE AUDITORIUM!!!!!!!!SDC gets in trouble every year for the few parents who disregard this rule. NO gummy snacks, NO gold fish or crackers, No Starbucks! NO FOOD! Only water is permitted.
EXIT up front by the sides of stage, DO NOT go out in the lobby, the next recital will be entering.
